Verdict

Across every roundup we've run this year, the LUBA 3 AWD 5000 is the machine with the fewest asterisks. Any terrain, any weather, any time of day, five thousand square meters at a stretch. It is the estate-tier benchmark.

Pros and cons

What we like

  • Tri-Fusion navigation is the most robust positioning stack on sale
  • 215-minute runtime from a 15Ah battery
  • AWD and independent suspension for 80% slopes
  • Manages up to 30 zones with flexible map editing

What to know

  • Serious money once you add the garage
  • Large turning footprint in tight ornamental gardens
  • Front omni-wheels collect mud on soft ground (it hoses off, IPX6)

Full review

The LUBA 3 AWD 5000 is the full expression of Mammotion's Tri-Fusion idea: 360-degree LiDAR, network RTK, and dual AI cameras fused into a single positioning estimate that survives tree canopy, darkness, rain, and noisy RF environments. Reviewers keep reaching the same conclusion we do. For large, complicated properties it's the most capable option of the season.

The hardware matches. A 15Ah pack good for around 215 minutes per charge, a 40 cm deck that turns acreage into an afternoon, and an AWD suspension setup that holds an even cut across 80% grades. It manages up to 30 separately scheduled zones, and EcoSleep trims standby power draw meaningfully over a season. It's big, and it isn't cheap once the garage is added, but nothing else at any price does this many things this well.

Who it's for: Large, complex properties to 1.25 acres with slopes, trees, and multiple zones.
